When we take nature for granted we can lose sight of what we've lost and how dependent we are upon it. We forget the blessings and the gifts that nature bestows upon us. We forget that we can't survive without it. It's easy to be self-absorbed and think only of ourselves.

Our focus becomes lost on our own problems and fears rather than on the world around us. We need to be more aware of the blessings that nature has to offer. It's easy to ignore them or forget they exist because we've become so dependent upon our modern conveniences.
